Education
Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University in 1999, attended the U. S. Army-Baylor COL Douglas A. Kersey Advanced Clinical & Operational Practice Course in 2004, the Military Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation Course in 2019, and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions in 2013. Rob serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserves with the 88th Readiness Division Surgeon Staff. He is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, and has advanced training in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Graston Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation, Aquatic Therapy, treatment of Biomechanical Dysfunction, and Industrial Medicine.
Clinically
Rob's main clinical interests are in orthopaedics, treatment of Biomechanical Dysfunction, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Industrial Rehabilitation and Aquatic Therapy. Rob has taken numerous civilian and military continuing education courses on the treatment of patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions involving the lumbosacral, thoracic and cervical spine, the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. He performs Work conditioning/Hardening and Functional Capacity Evaluations as part of Northern Rehab's Industrial Medicine program.
Socially
During his free time Rob enjoys spending time with his family, reading, exercising, sailing, mountain biking, and enjoying the outdoors.
