We held our annual community collection of winter coats and accessories for the Sycamore United Methodist Church (SUMC) Coat Ministry. Several large donations of coats, boots, scarves, hats and mittens were recently delivered. Physical Therapist Melissa Wagner comments, “Part of Northern Rehab’s mission is to support organizations and programs that contribute to the well-being and needs of the community we serve. We enjoy organizing this Coat Drive every year, and are happy to do our part to help keep those in need in our community warm each winter. We’re thankful to our community for their generous donations to this cause.”
The SUMC Coat Ministry is open every Monday from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm during Food Pantry hours at the church located at 160 Johnson Avenue in Sycamore. Northern Rehab extends our gratitude to all of the community members that generously donated winter items in support of the SUMC Coat Ministry. Thank you to everyone that generously donated to this cause!
