Brandon Clement, PT, DPT, OCS, has completed the Introduction to Vestibular Rehabilitation course. This continuing education course from Evidence CEU provides a clinical skill set to diagnose and treat patients with central, peripheral, and positional vertigo disorders. Upon completion of this training, Brandon is well prepared to independently treat patients with suspected vestibular disorders and dizziness.
There are many perceptions of dizziness such as unsteadiness, an off-kilter feeling, spinning, lightheadedness, and blurred vision with movement. Common causes of dizziness may also accompany neck pain, blood pressure changes, inner ear disorders, central nervous system dizziness, concussions, brain damage, tumors, or strokes. If you feel your dizziness is affecting your daily activities or it has become debilitating, vestibular physical therapy can often improve symptoms after a few sessions. A physician’s prescription is not required for physical therapy, which means you don’t have to wait to get into the doctor’s office, and you can call Northern Rehab directly for same-day or next-day treatment to start feeling better right away. Northern Rehab now has at least one physical therapist qualified to treat vestibular conditions at each of their four clinics in DeKalb/Sycamore, Genoa and Rochelle. Brandon is accepting new patients at the DeKalb Sycamore Road location. To schedule an appointment or for more information, please call us at 815.756.8524.
