Education: Janet graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2013 from Northern Illinois University.  She also received a Bachelor degree at NIU, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2007.  Janet has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2011.

Clinically: Janet enjoys treating a variety of caseloads including pediatrics, orthopedics and sports related injuries through use of manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.  She has taken several courses on pediatrics focusing on torticollis, developmental milestones, and gait analysis with orthotics.

Socially: Janet was raised in Rochelle and still resides there. She is married with 3 children. She enjoys reading, working out, and playing with her kids. In the summer, she loves to swim, play tennis, go to the park with the kids, bike, and run in Tough Mudder races, half marathons and duathlons.


What type of treatment will
I receive?

Treatment is based on the initial examination findings along with ongoing reassessment and evaluation. Treatment may consist of a variety of hands-on joint and soft tissue treatment techniques, gentle exercise techniques, pain reducing modalities, and education in self-management skills.
